Amy Lockridge (Neely)

Amy Renee Lockridge Neely, age 45, of Yucca Valley, California, passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, California. Born December 13, 1972 in Louisville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of John Robert Lockridge of Charlestown, Indiana and Regina "Cookie" Block of Madison, Indiana. She was a graduate of Madison Consolidated High School and Purdue University.

On August 27, 2005, she was united in marriage to Paul Anthony "Tony" Neely in Dumas, Texas. She was currently employed at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center at Twentynine Palms as a Retail Manager at the Ocotilla Marine Mart - a job which she truly loved and kept her from ever moving back to Indiana. She enjoyed collecting postcards, crocheting and making baby blankets for free for friends or anyone that might need one. She loved spending time with friends and most of all she loved her fur babies which were all rescue animals. She lived life to the fullest, never meeting a stranger.

Amy was always willing to lend an ear and offer encouragement to anyone. She will be sadly missed by her husband and parents; her sisters: Jennifer Durand and her husband, Kenny of Madison and Kelly Combs and her husband, BJ of Madison; her nephew: Maverick Miller and two nieces: Leah Combs and Hannah Combs all of Madison; several aunts, uncles and cousins; her mother-in-law: Mary Neely, her sisters-in-law: Laura (Casey) Jaynes of Florence Kentucky and Calin Neely of Seymour, Indiana; her brothers-in-law: Jason (Amanda) Neely of Madison and Ross Neely of Louisville Kentucky; and other nieces and nephews.
