Mrs. Naoma Kathleen Ward Shelton, age 51 of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on October 14, 1971 in Madison, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of Edward Wayne and JoAnn Tucker Ward. A life-long resident of Jefferson County, Naoma graduated from Madison Consolidated High School in 1991 and attended Ivy Tech Community College for auto body training. She was united in marriage to Jerry Shelton and this union was blessed with three daughters, Jade, Anna and Stacie. She worked early in life for Taco Bell and then with Madison Precision Products for 10 years and was currently employed in maintenance with Madison Wal-Mart for the past 10 years. Naoma was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Hanover, Indiana and enjoyed her animals, grandchildren and leisurely drives. Naoma died on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 5:14 p.m. at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky after suffering a brain aneurysm.

A LOVING FAMILY
Naoma will be missed by her loving father, Edward Wayne Ward of Madison, Indiana; her beloved daughters, Jade Shelton and her companion, Cory Sturgeon of Madison, Indiana, Anna Ward Shelton and her companion, Andrew Jones of Hanover, Indiana, Stacie Shelton of Hanover, Indiana; her grandchildren, Brayden, Harland, Mason, Colton, and one on the way; her former husband and father of her children, Jerry Shelton of Madison, Indiana; her sister, Anna Holland and her husband, Jason of Seymour, Indiana; her brother, Edward Wayne Ward, II and his wife, Missy of Hanover, Indiana; her sister, Melissa Shouse and her husband, Jim of Shelbyville, Kentucky; her aunts and her uncles, Glenn W. Tucker, Jr., Dennis Michael Tucker, Jerry Tucker, Rev. Leon Turner, Kathy Jo Brown, Susanne Smith, Bonnie Davis, and Charles Geisler; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her mother, JoAnn Tucker Ward, died August 1, 2016, her nephew, Eddie Ray Ward, died October 9, 1993, her grandparents, Glenn "Dempsey" and Kate Tucker, and Pauline Geisler.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. by Pastor Mike Johnson at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Shelby Cemetery near Versailles, Indiana.

VISITATION
Friends may visit Saturday from 2:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
